Playtech is one of the software providers that offer live dealer games at its online casinos. It has launched a live dealer roulette variant called Dual Roulette, which offers some added features to overcome reported drawbacks.

In live dealer roulette games time has to be given for players to place their bets. Expert players who place their bets quickly feel that they lose time waiting for other players to complete their wagers. Dual Roulette allows you to select two of the available live dealer roulette tables and wager on both at the same time on the same screen. Playtech says, “Dual Roulette gives you the ability to double your playing experience and minimize the idle time you spend between spins!”

You can select the live dealer roulette tables you want from the main lobby of the live dealer casino. All tables follow European Roulette rules giving players higher average returns as compared to American roulette. The two selected roulette tables will have wheels spinning at staggered times. Players who are used to wagering solo at online casinos taking their own time to place bets must take note that Playtech Dual Roulette is a fast paced game. If you cannot keep up with the two wheels then you can skip a turn by not placing any bets.

Playtech Dual Roulette tables have an Auto Confirm Bets feature that also aids in increasing the pace of the game play. The Confirm Bets button will not appear after you have placed the bets requiring you to confirm the bets manually. All bets that are on the table when the No More Bets signal is given are deemed to be confirmed. Playtech Dual Roulette also incorporates the Community Chips feature. The players’ bets are visible to other players as well. This feature does not reveal the amounts of the bets.

When you play Dual Roulette, your screen window will be split between two selected roulette tables. Each table will display its own set of information, which includes bet and win amounts for the last round played, the dealer name and the timer denoting how much time is left to place bets. The live video feed of the roulette wheel will be seen on the left side of each table and the layout on the right side. Below the video feed is the layout for the Neighbor bets. The history panel shows the results for the last 30 rounds played for players who like to track bets.
